Manfred Urban was a German plastics manufacturer in the 1950s and 60s, the Manurba company name is a contraction of his name. They made plastic flats as premiums and possibly other animals. They wholesaled items to Heinerle and others so the actual source is sometimes confusing. They were originally in Striegau, now a part of Poland. Manurba startet with the production of flat and hollow animals. Later Manurba produced animals on plastic injection machines. Therefore Manurba used injection molds. Each mold concerned different animals. So we sorted thhe animals by the number of the molds. Some molds are named with a colour - but this means only that this color are the mean used color. See here the possible colors when the mold named yellow. Manurba90Watussi-coloures.jpg

The animals are not marked with a company name or logo or something else.
