Heinerle
"Heinerle" is a synonym for a group of German companies. One part of these companies are the Heinerle Spiel- und Süßwaren GmbH. This company offered gift bags called "Wundertüten". "Wundertüten" were for children and filled with candy, some toys and animals. In the beginning Heinerle produced only candy and bought cheap toys and animals to fill the "Wundertüten". Soon Heinerle began to produce their own toys and animals. Later Heinerle founded the company "DOMPLAST" to produce the toys and animals for themselves. Heinerle also worked together with the company called "MANURBA" which was founded by a member of the Heinerle personnel. Heinerle and Manurba used some molds together. So you can find the same animals in the catalogs of Heinerle and Manurba. Heinerle tried between the years 1968 and 1972 to paint the animals, but this was too expensive for the "Wundertüten". Heinerle and Manurba also produced some animals as Premiums for other companies.
Animals flat
HEINERLE animal figures are made of soft plastic (float in water) and they are marked nearly unseen with "Made in W. Germany" on bottom side. The same figures were made of a denser plastic by MANURBA and Manurba animal figures are not marked.
