Animal Cratochelone The text of the paper insert for this figure reads:

"Scientific Name: Cratochelone berneyi Pronounced: crate-o-kel-o-nee burn-e-eye
Type of Animal: Reptile Period: Cretaceous (146-65 million years ago)
The Giant Sea Turtle was a reptile that lived in the great sea which once covered much of inland Australia. About 2.25 metres long, it probably lived a similar life to its modern relatives, spending most of its time in the open ocean feeding on jellyfish and other sea creatures. Once a year the female turtles would have come ashore on sandy beaches to lay their eggs."
Recent estimates suggest that Cratochelone was at least a meter longer than the figure given by the paper insert.
