phylum | Chordata | Cratochelone is an extinct genus of sea turtle known from fossil remains found in Albian-age rocks in Queensland, Australia. Its remains are fragmentary, consisting of parts of the shell, forelimb, and shoulder girdle. Based on these fragments, it may have grown to lengths of 4 m, making it one of the largest sea turtles to have ever lived.
