Tomy

Tomy is a large Japanese toy company begun in 1924 as Tomiyama. The name changed to Tomy in 1963, and the company merged with Takara in 2006. The new company name is Takara Tomy in Japan, and is known in other countries as just Tomy. It produces several animal figure series, including Ania. In 2011 they acquired Ertl and with it Britains Ltd.
