phylum | Chordata | Splash-backed poison frog, or splashback poison frog, is endemic to the southern tributaries of the Amazon River in Brazil. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests and intermittent freshwater marshes. Though a common species, it is threatened by habitat loss.
