phylum | Arthropoda | Metagoniochernes tomiyamai is a species of pseudoscorpion from the Ogasawara Islands, Japan. It is too tiny to be noticeable, only several millimeters long. The male has much longer pedipalps than the female, equipped with pinchers. Pseudoscorpions look like tiny scorpions, but do not have a stinger tail.
