phylum | Chordata | Deltasaurus is an extinct genus of temnospondyl amphibian. It was a predator and inhabitant of marshes, although its apparently well-developed auditory anatomy suggests it was able to hear airborne sound well, suggesting a partially terrestrial lifestyle. Deltasaurus was relatively large, up to 90 cm in length.
