The tiger The tiger is the largest of the cat family. It is mostly reddish-brown, marked with black or brown stripes. It lives in Asia, mainly in India. Day and night, its eyes, ears, and sharp senses are constantly busy. In the zoo, it likes to be at home. When hunting, it is a loner. When it is hungry, it also attacks villages to hunt cattle.
