Kentrosaurus was a small African relative of the larger Stegosaurus. Although it was only 2.5m in length, this dinosaur could defend itself effectively against predators. A protective row of sharp spines ran down its back and along its tail. Kentrosaurus had a very small brain and was not very intelligent, but it probably had an excellent sense of smell." |
