phylum | Chordata | The Giant Sauropod was an enormous dinosaur that lived on the floodplains, searching out plants to eat. Cycads and ferns were probably included in its vegetarian diet.
So far, we only know the Giant Sauropod by the footprints it left behind - no bones have been found. The shape of the footprints tells us that a sauropod dinosaur made them, and their size tells us how big the dinosaur was, but without actual bones to study we don't know exactly what kind of sauropod it was.
