phylum | Chordata | Trilophosuchus is an extinct genus of crocodile known from the Neogene of Australia. Fossils hail from the Miocene epoch and indicate an animal with a length of approximately 1.5 meters (although only the head has been found). Related animals had adaptations that suggest a terrestrial lifestyle.
