• European mouflon?

The so-called “European mouflon” (Ovis aries musimon) is essentially a feral version of the domestic sheep. This is distinct from the ancestral species from the Middle East, the mouflon (Ovis gmelini). It should be assumed that all mouflon figures are the more well-known Ovis aries musimon.
