Almost certainly this is indeed a member of Geoemyda, but I would think it to have been far more likely to have been cast from the mainland species G. spengleri (which shares its range with a number of the other AAA reptiles cast from specimens) than G. japonica (which was most likely given as an identification solely because a page for the species already existed on this wiki for those Japanese figures that definitely represent the less common, island-endemic taxon).
