phylum | Chordata | Suzuki inhabit near shore waters and estuaries. It is widespread in the western North Pacific from Japan to the South China Sea. It is a marine reef-associated catadromous fish, up to 102 cm (3.3 ft) maximal length. It is also known as the Japanese sea dace.
