Société Industrielle de Celluloïd (SIC) was founded in 1887 and was probably one of the first factories to produce dolls from 1903. It joined forces with SNF (Société Nobel de France) in 1927. Despite the merger, the two companies kept their respective trademarks for some time, apparently until 1934/35. It also produced animals in celluloid and possibly aluminium. The company was active until 1963 when Petitcollin and Fredva bought out the stock.
