phylum | Arthropoda | Hagenomyia micans is an antlion of the family Myrmeleontidae. It can be found in Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and Nansei Islands). Found in forest edges and grasslands from flatlands to mountains. It has four transparent wings and the body shape is similar to dragonflies but the way this species fly is rather flattering and too delicate.
