phylum | Arthropoda | The Rostrate barnacle (Balanus rostratus] is a species of subtidal barnacle that is found in the Pacific Ocean. it has six plates and the rostrum overlaps the adjacent plates. The outside of the plates are fairly smooth or with shallow longitudinal striations, not much eroded.
