phylum | Chordata | Nedoceratops ("insufficient horned face," formerly known as Diceratops, a name preoccupied by a genus of wasps) is a genus of extinct horned dinosaurs, known from a single skull and of disputed validity. The preservation of the lone specimen is quite good, but its minor differences with Triceratops have led different researchers to conclude that it is either an old individual of Triceratops, or a valid genus in its own right. It differs from Triceratops in the relatively short rostrum, small or absent nasal horn, perforation of the frill, and angle of the brow horns.
