This figure is marked Felis lynx, an outdated synonym of Lynx lynx, the scientific name of the Eurasian lynx. This figure is included in a North American set, presumably as either a bobcat or a Canada lynx. Interestingly, the Canada lynx has previously been classified in the same species as the Eurasian lynx (as Felis lynx canadensis).
