phylum | Echinodermata | Bohadschia argus, the leopard sea cucumber, is a species of the family Holothuriidae. It is sausage-shaped, grayish-brown in color, with leathery skin, and can grow to 2 feet (0.61 m) in length. Sticky threads can be ejected from the anus that contain toxins to deter predators. Range is the Western Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, on coral reefs and sandy seabeds.
