Coreidae is a large family of predominantly sap-sucking insects in the Hemipteran suborder Heteroptera.The name "Coreidae" derives from the Ancient Greekκόριςmeaning bedbug. As a family, Coreidae members are cosmopolitan, but most of the species are tropical or subtropical.

Crusader bug

It is recognizable by the light, cross-shaped marking on its back and the enlarged, flattened section (foliaceous expansion) on its hind legs.
