| phylum | Chordata | Bohra paulae the Giant Tree-kangaroo was closely related to the modern tree-kangaroo of north Queensland and New Guinea but was much bigger. It weighed up to 40kg - twice as much as its living relatives. In spite of its huge size, this marsupial was adapted for a life in the trees and would have been a good climber. It probably lived high in the forest trees, feeding mainly on leaves.
