Born in 1906, François Clairet was a French manufacturer of plastic toy soldiers, he was also the sculptor of his family company located at 207 boulevard Voltaire in Paris. It is said that he not only sculpted the prototypes but also prepared the covers for the paintings. With a very marked "art deco" style, François Clairet was above all an artist who expressed himself through the production of small plastic figurines.
