The Flemish Giant, originating in 16th century Flanders (Belgium), is a domestic rabbit breed known for its impressive size. Averaging 15 lbs, with some reaching 22 lbs, they are the heaviest recognized rabbit breed. These "semi-arch" rabbits have a long, muscular body with a distinctive arch in their back.
