English Foxhound

The English Foxhound is a scent hound, bred to hunt foxes by scent. Their skull is thick and the muzzle is long and they have thick, straight-boned legs. They come in any hound colour, most often tricolour, tan, red, or black with a white base. Foxhounds have been bred for over two hundred years, with the stud books dating back before 1800.
