Durolin was a subsidiary of Emil Pfeiffer / Vienna (until the war ended in 1945 Elastolin animal figures were made). During the Second World War, also due to material shortages, Lineol had moved whole sectors of production in the former Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, so some Lineol forms came in the hands of the resident company Durolin. At the beginning of the 1980s, production was resumed with the remaining forms there, but with a different material composition. These figures are so shrunk partially collapsed, but were nevertheless painted and sold. On some figures the stamp of the former company was removed and some are marked with Durolin.
