The Dupont Viscoloid Company was one of the first USA companies specializing in plastic toy manufacture. They began producing toys of pyroxylin plastic in 1914 when the company name was Viscoloid. The company was bought by Dupont in 1925. The company mark is a VCO together with USA above. The production style was blow molded and toy animals are often found listed as celluloid.
