phylum | Chordata | The Choco toucan is found in Colombia and Ecuador. It was long treated as a subspecies of the yellow-throated toucan (R. ambiguus) but vocal differences and other characteristics led to their being split. The Choco toucan is 46 to 48.5 cm (18 to 19 in) long.
