phylum | Chordata | Camptosaurus is a genus of plant-eating, beaked ornithischian dinosaurs of the Late Jurassic period of western North America. The name means 'flexible lizard'. Camptosaurus is a relatively heavily built form, with robust hindlimbs and broad feet, still having four toes.
