The company Bachmann Brothers began making the Plasticville line of model railroad buildings after WWII. The earliest animals from this series are marked BB on the bottom. The company eventually changed ownership and became Bachmann Industries, now owned and manufactured in China. During the 1960s they produced a series of small plastic animal kits.
