This is a very unusual example. It is made of a white substance like vinyl and is still flexible. It does not have the harder coating of lacquer as was usual. Normal Auburn figures from this era are hard black rubber with paint and then a layer of lacquer. This one is dated on the bottom November of 1935 and may have been from a test batch.
