phylum | Cnidaria | Anthopleura fuscoviridus is an intertidal species found from the Japanese Islands of Hokkarido to Kyusu. Size is from 30 to 100 mm, with about the same width as height. 96 tentacles surround the central mouth. Symbiotic algae color the tentacles yellow-green.
