Maia & Borges is a Portuguese toy company established in 1976. They sell mainly in the German market. They produced licensed figures as well as various animals.

Collectors of Schleich will recognize the moulds of the tropical fish, horses,several of the models in the Sea Life-line, as well as wildlife models made in co-operation with Science 4You.
