phylum Arthropoda Pulchriphyllium giganteum (commonly known as the Giant Malaysian Leaf Insect) is the largest species of leaf insect in the family Phylliidae. It is native to the Malaysian tropics, including Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, and Sumatra, and can reach up to 105 mm in length. Females are typically flightless and often reproduce asexually (parthenogenetically).
